I volunteer my time and act as a Financial Administrator for the school. |
JINNIE MIZANIN
Assistant Director Although originally born in Chicago, I grew in California where I graduated with an AA degree in business and office technology. However, after having my daughter in 1993, and being her first teacher, I fell in love with the idea of working with children. I have over 15 years of experience working in education from elementary to middle school ages. In 2004 my family moved to New Jersey where I worked primarily as a paraprofessional with special needs children. In 2016, after my husband's retirement we decided to make Florida our new home. I am excited to become a member of Zam Zam family and look forward to working with our community and helping our students grow and prosper. |

AICHA CHAHBAOUY
Islamic Studies Teacher My name is Aicha Chahbaouy and I was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Morocco in English as a Second Language and a Master’s Degree in the United States in curriculum development and instruction. I spent most of my life raising my kids yet the love of teaching children has never stopped. So, I decided to start teaching in the Sunday School at the Daytona Beach Islamic Center for many years; also became a substitute teacher in the public schools for four years. This year will be my third year teaching at ZKA. I spent the last two years teaching Math, Science, and Islamic Studies. This year inshallah, I will be teaching only Islamic Studies for grades 2-5. It is great to come back to teaching Islamic Studies, my favorite subject, and I am truly thankful to Allah to be able to teach the little minds about their Lord Allah along with the teachings of the prophet Mohammad. Jazakumllah khayran for helping your children become better Muslims by bringing them to an Islamic School to learn about their religion. The best knowledge is to learn about our Lord, Allah. |
SAHAR MAHMOUD
Kindergarten Teacher I was born and raised in Khartoum, Sudan and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. I taught children ages 4-11 years old for many years in Boca Raton, Florida. In 2015 I moved with my family to Daytona Beach and joined ZamZam Knowledge Academy in 2017. I love working with children and seeing them play, learn, and grow. So naturally, teaching children allows me to live this passion. As a proud mother of three wonderful teenagers, I always believed that early school years are the perfect age to positively impact a child’s development. After their parents, young children view teachers as role models and examples to follow. My philosophy in working with young children is that in addition to delivering life skills and knowledge, teachers complement the parent’s efforts to develop our children according to our values. I look forward to working with you to ensure that your child has a great social and academic experience. |
